There are 2 days to rest

 DAYS/MONTHS/SEASONS

How many days are there in a week?
➡ There are seven days in a week. The North American calendars use Sunday as the first day, while European calendars regard Monday as the first day.
The names of the days of the week in a lot of languages are from the names of classical planets, a system introduced by the Romans around 7th century AD (7ème siècle après J-C)

Monday /ˈmʌndeɪ/      ⇨⇨⇨⇛⇛ the Moon /ˈmuːn/
Tuesday  /ˈtjuːzdeɪ/       ⇛⇛⇛⇛  Mars /ˈmɑːrz/
Wednesday  /ˈwɛnzdeɪ/ ⇛⇛⇛⇛ Mercury  /ˈmɜːkjʊri/
Thursday  /ˈθɜːzdeɪ  ⇛⇛⇛⇛⇛ Jupiter /ˈdʒuːpɪtər/

There are twelve Months:

    January      -  February   - March  -    April   -  May -     June   -   July

Since there are 12 months in one year, each season lasts about 3 Months so there 4 seasons:

SPRING runs from March 20 to June 21

SUMMER runs from June 21 to September 22

AUTUMN/FALL runs from
/ˈɔːtəm/September 22 to December 21

WINTER runs from December 21 to March 20

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

 Let'recap/ Nous avons vu à l'oral , l'utilisation de Be+ING, il est temps d'en garder une trace.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS (Be +BV-ING)

From Wikimedia Commons, the free media repositoryer

➡ ( to rain: pleuvoir)  It is raining /It's raining
➡ ( to snow: neiger)  It is snowing /It's snowing.
➡ ( to sleet:tomber de la neige fondue)  It is sleeting/ It's sleeting.

Here is the script of this audio:

Hello everybody. Let's talk about the weather in the United Kingdom

Today, in Glasgow the weather is cold with 47 °Fahrenheit, and it’s foggy in Edinburgh, the temperature is at 51°. In Manchester, it’s cloudy and 60°, and it’s rainy in Liverpool with a temperature of 59°. In the south, the weather is better, it’s hot; 81° in Dover, and in London, it's sunny with a nice 77° in the shade. In Cardiff, the weather is cool, 70°  but a bit windy. Finally, in Belfast, it’s stormy with a temperature of 50°.

How to convert from degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Celsius? Take out your calculator and apply the formula:

From FAHRENHEIT to CELSIUS T (°C) = [T (°F) – 32] x [5 / 9]

Expl: For 47° F--------> T (°C) = [47 - 32] x --------> 15 [5 / 9] = 15 x 0.555 = 8.3°C

Now look at the map of the British Isles. Name the countries and capitals, and place the cities mentioned above.

Give the composition of Great Britain, the United Kingdom and the British Isles.

Great-Britain     = ENGLAND   + SCOTLAND +WALES

United Kingdom= ENGLAND   + SCOTLAND +WALES  + NOTHERN IRELAND

British Isles         ENGLAND   + SCOTLAND +WALES  + NOTHERN IRELAND + REPUBLIC                                     OF IRELAND
